Winter Rallye

In the middle of the dark, cold winter a group of enthusiasts gathered to race their VW's across the snow covered ground, the usual suspects were present and much fun was had by all.
Watch this space as we are sure this will happen again soon....

Mr Bergrennen

It was with great sadness that we learned of the sudden and unexpected passing of our great friend "Mr Bergrennen" Bjørn-Inge Dalby, just a week before Bad Camberg.
Bjorn-Inge was the man behind the Bergrennen in Norway and showed use great hospitality on our trips up north to the mountain.
We have very fond memories of great times spent on the mountain in his company and we will greatly miss him.
We truly hope the Bergrennen will continue in honour of the great man who made it all possible and possibly become "The Bjørn-Inge Dalby Memorial Bergrennen"

Summer 2014 pt 3

Car Cemetery

While in Scandinavia last summer we went to check out a car cemetery that we had heard about for years, we have searched many scrapyards over the years, but we have never been to place as magical as this.
The vehicles were all towed there way back when and just left for nature to take its course, there is a mixture of some very cool vehicles although someone has been there with a petrol stihl saw......
We particularly liked the warning sign left by the owners.
